After spending five years working with a film crew in the Okavango Delta, I was inspired to pick up a pencil and draw the animals I saw every day. What began as a way to pass the time and unwind gradually became a hobby, and eventually a passion. Living so closely alongside wildlife gave me a deeper appreciation for the individuality, character and quiet presence of each animal.

I have always been drawn to detail and the process of observation, and these qualities naturally found their way into my work. Through drawing, I aim to honour wildlife without interfering with it — creating considered studies that capture something of an animal’s character and preserve a moment of its existence. My work is ultimately a celebration of the natural world and the animals we are fortunate enough to share it with.
